We are currently hiring aLead Customer Solutions Engineer within Security and Risk in our America's Operating Plant Services Business Unit. This individual will be responsible for driving and identifying business growth opportunities to facilitate business development of products within the Security and Risk team.
Your Day to Day:
Collaborate with Account Teams, the Asia/EMEA BU and Commercial Integration to capture and deliver products and services to customers.
Develop competitor intelligence and develop solutions to beat the competition.
Lead proposal development for products within the Security and Risk portfolio, review input from multi-disciplinary groups to ensure customer needs are met through contracts which also meet profit margin and revenue targets.
Analyze contract and RFQ requirements and develop project specific deliverables to enable successful program implementation and to enhance customer satisfaction.
Analyze needs and develop unique customer solutions to address customers competitiveness and long-term viability.
Identify unmet customer needs through appropriate market channels especially direct customer interaction.
Develop and implement product strategy for new products and/or existing products to new customers/markets. Manage financial viability of your portfolio of products.
Work with customer facing organizations, integrate competitive and market intelligence to develop products with strong customer value propositions.
Develop business cases to justify investments to meet market needs while building and maintaining, intimate, long term, strategic relationships with customers.
Participate in technical meetings (study meetings, Operational Experience, etc.) with the Customers
Support and/or directly lead Security and/or Risk campaigns at Customer sites
Lead/Support Business Development initiatives within the Business Unit by coordinating between Asia/EMEA BUs and America's BU Account Teams to develop products/services which properly align to Asia Customers.
Support Project Managers on monthly financial sales/revenue, costs and margin forecasts for projects and opportunities within scope of work to support overall AOPS BU Security and Risk financial forecasting.
Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field.
10 years overall relevant experience to include:
5-10 years of Security and/or Risk lead experience
Power Plant Security and/or Risk Analysis and Operations (strongly preferred)
Previous Military or Law Enforcement experience (strongly preferred)
Strong organization and communication skills and a proven history of managing and effectively leading multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams and interfacing with multiple functional groups.
Demonstrated successful offer development skills in effectively planning, estimating and executing significantly complex projects/programs, including complex contract negotiations with clients.
Demonstrated ability to oversee project activities and opportunity management, conveying feedback on customer satisfaction, needs and opportunities.
Market development experience (preferred).
