*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Production Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of our organization. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
*1st and 2nd shift available!*
*Pay Range $16-$18.70/hour*
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*
* Pick and pack items in your production role
* Stock and pull order in your production role
* Inspects material for quality before it is loaded onto trucks in the production involvement
* Janitorial responsibilities: trash removal, grounds upkeep, utilization of cleaning equipment, forklift operations in the production role
* Perform various manual production tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials, equipment, and tools as needed.
* Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision, following safety guidelines and procedures while enduring a general labor task
* Ensures that trucks are loaded and unloaded properly in the production role
* Ensures that material is not damaged during transit or loading process in the production role
* Uses hand truck or forklift to move around facilities, loading and unloading trucks as needed in the production role
* Operates various equipment including a forklift, pallet jack, air jacks, and other equipment as needed in the production role
* Performs other duties as required including but not limited to moving around materials, inspecting for size or quality, and assisting with loading unloading trucks in the production role.
*REQUIREMENTS:*
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
* Ability to read and understand written instructions.
* Ability to write accurate reports.
* Ability to complete routine safety checks and follow standard operating procedures.
* Ability to work in a team environment as needed.
* Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
