First Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday

Minimum Job Requirements

• Physical- capable of lifting 50 lbs. safely or with assistance. Capable of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable assistance.
• Display good leadership qualities. Be a role model for the department and set the standard for productivity, safety, and quality for employees of different levels to follow.
• Working Hours- Fulltime (40 hours/week)
• Personal Traits- Good communication skills with positive teamwork attitude. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow direction and or work independently, able to multi-task and trouble shoot.
• Punctuality and safe work habits.
• This position requires US citizenship or Permanent Residency to meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Prepare account reconciliations and analysis.

• Run an anodizing line
• Ensure the highest quality standards are met with all work done in the department.
• Understand, follow and execute Quality Management System procedures including job travelers and work instructions.
• Operate wet process equipment associated with chemical conversion coatings, anodizing, and passivation of metal, if needed.
• Perform final inspection and packaging of assigned product in conformance with specifications and meet daily required production assignments.
• Possess an understanding of customer's aesthetic requirements and apply these requirements in the inspection process.
• Operators will actively participate in hazardous waste and chemical handling training and will adhere to safe practices including the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Set and maintain chemical processing and laboratory equipment within operational parameters by performing titrations/analysis in the laboratory, visual inspection of the tanks, and temperature verification.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Mechanically inclined with strong basic math skills
• Capable of using a computer for production reporting and communication
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English
• Basic knowledge & appreciation of chemistry (titrations, pH, colorimeter)
• Ability to visually inspect parts for quality.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years anodizing experience required
