Job Description

The Department of Mental Health (DMH) is seeking to hire an intern who will support its Clinical Professional Services (CPS) Division in Central Office Boston.

Duties and Responsibilities (these duties are a general summary and not all inclusive):

  • Work with CPS Quality to develop a dashboard of DMH's Adult Community Clinical Services (ACCS) and DMH's Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) consumer satisfaction results to be used internally by central office and field staff.
  • Work with CPS Quality to research other state mental health authority quality improvement work, i.e. E-Scan the quality units in other states, including reporting structure and assist with ORYX reporting with focus on other attributes.

  • Data analysis
  • Dashboard creation
  • Data wrangling and literature review
  • Given the population served, bilingual or multilingual fluency.

Period of Service: May 28, 2024 through August 30, 2024

Additional Information:

  • Benefits are unavailable with the exception of sick leave accruals.
  • All employees will be paid on a biweekly basis and must have direct deposit.
  • The salary for this position is $18- $27 an hour.
  • Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Days Off: Saturday and Sunday
