We are hiring a Product Engineer to support our operations in Rogersville, MO. Position requirements:
- Evaluates products and systems by designing and conducting research programs; applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and materials.
- Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
- Develops products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; soliciting observations from operators.
- Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
- Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities; confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
Education and Experience:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering field with three or more years of hands-on engineering experience.
- Lean or similar continuous improvement knowledge and experience.
- Software Experience: 2-D/3-D CAD/CAM software, ERP Software, Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of PPAP process a plus.
