Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive measures
- Assist with sterile processing and maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Perform basic life support techniques as needed
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse License from Texas or another compact state
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in behavioral health or psych
-Active AHA BLS certification
