Fort Lauderdale behavioral Health Center is a 182-bed, psychiatric facility located in the beautiful Oakland Park neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, FL. FLBHC features individual units for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. On average, over 10,000 patients receive care from our compassionate health care team each year at Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center.

Loss Control Coordinator - Saturday Night, 7P - 7:30AM

The Loss Control Coordinator is responsible for the receipt, care, inventory, and custody of patient belongings.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associate of Arts or some college a plus

Experience:

  • One (1) year professional experience in a healthcare setting desired
  • Professional experience requiring patience dealing with difficult customers, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, and computer skills

License/Certification:

  • CPR/BLS/CPI

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Knowledge of hospital operations, assessment and reduction and claims management
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Sensitive and aware of diverse cultures and practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
