Responsibilities

The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a Full Time Director of Admissions.

The Director of Admissions is responsible for the patient intake process; implementing, monitoring, and evaluating that process. The Director will be responsible for all patient intake calls into the Facility; providing information to individuals, agencies, facilities, and professional staff (i.e., physicians, consulting professionals) requesting information regarding potential admissions, developing and/or maintaining relationships with ongoing sources of referral to alternate treatment sources when appropriate.

The Vines Hospital, located in Ocala, FL is a premier behavioral health facility offering individualized mental health and addiction treatment to adults and adolescents in a secure and private setting.. Our services also includes partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. We offer acute psychiatric, detox, and PTSD treatment.

We are located in picturesque Marion County, FL. The county is known as the Horse Capital of the World. Enjoy the outdoors at one of the county's serene parks, which includes wonderful hiking trails, river rafting, and tubing. Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)

Florida licensed LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or RN Required.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service

Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices

Masters degree from an accredited university in a clinical area, such as counseling, social work or RN licensure from an accredited school.

At least five (5) years experience in the mental health field.

Clinical experience in psychiatric setting; situational evaluation and crisis intervention experience preferred. One (1) year experience as a supervisor or in a leadership capacity required.

Above average communication skills, high level of initiative, motivation, independent judgement and organizational skills. Ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

* Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

* Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone

* Medium demand, mentally. Requires extensive time sitting, writing, and talking on telephone. Ability to assist in crisis intervention, physical intervention with out of control patients.
