Job Description

The Project Manager position at Heeter is part of the IT Services group that partners with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure operational automation of print through technology. As a key member of the IT Project Managment team, you will plan, coordinate and manage the execution of various project tasks from definition to launch. Position ensures adherence to program performance targets against project plan, operational implementation of systems, budget and timeline.

Essential functions of position:

  • ·Collect and analyze data as well as gather and document client requirements (product workflows, OEE waterfalls), collaborate with the client team to define solutions
  • Make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction
  • Work with project teams to plan and execute projects based on scope and objectives while ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Schedule daily workloads for the developers and manage client expectations for program and automation builds
  • Ensure project initiatives and project prioritization are in alignment with IT strategic roadmaps
  • Drive process improvement in the project delivery lifecycle, working in collaboration with Performance Excellence and key stakeholders to determine the future state which supports improved business processes and outcomes.


Ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to work independently as project lead using experience leading projects and business acumen while determining objectives and approaches to assignments
  • Be able to identify process improvement opportunities and utilize technology to develop new workflows
  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
  • Maintain composure while managing multiple priorities under pressure, ability to multi-task
  • Use project management software to develop a detailed project plan, track and communicate progress with clients and key stakeholders
  • Define and demonstrate programs and automation opportunities for existing clients, and for new business opportunities
  • Demonstrated success in thinking strategically and executing methodically
  • Demonstrated ability to think differently and create 'out of the box' solutions when problem solving
  • Adaptability to different PMLC methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid)
  • Analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases
  • Strong technical background to clearly understand complex business requirements and benefits of assigned projects
  • Experience owning project strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to leadership

Systems experience desired: Jira, ePS MidMarket suite of Products
