*Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital is seeking an Emergency Department Director. *We are looking for a registered nurse with the skills and demonstrated leadership in a hospital for this role on behalf of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital. *Shift: *Days Monday - Friday, 24 hour coverage, _weekend and on-call as needed._
*Pay: *Pay is based on experience between $133,000 and $216,000 annually (exempt)

*General Position Requirements:*
* *License:* Current California RN license OR temporary CA license. (Must have proof of temp license to submit) \*Interim CA Licenses not accepted.
* *Certification:* Current BLS
* *Experience:* Minimum 5 years clinical management and administrative experience in related environment.
* *Education:* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Master's in Nursing or related field preferred
*Unit and Skills Required*:
The ED is a 45-50 bed unit with a variety of diagnoses including Cardio-vascular patients, bleeding, breathing difficulties, seizures, pain, heart attack, stroke, and trauma. .
* State and Federal regulations, including Title 22 and all other regularly requirements.
* Effective oral and written communication skills, budgeting principles and procedures; analytical skills.
* Knowledge of supervisory theories, principles, practices, techniques, and methods.
* Ability to manage staff and change through collaborative and positive leadership skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members, hospital staff, physicians, and patients.
* Demonstrated ability in interpersonal relationships which enhance communication, promote conflict resolution and development.
