Performs mechanical work required for installation and maintenance of equipment, systems, and facilities, by diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturer's specifications, and estimates jobs for material and labor Is proficient in troubleshooting electrical problems Performs planned maintenance on and repairs mechanical systems Review schedule with production and assist with equipment changeovers Performs general plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) repairs to the facility's equipment and systems. Inspects equipment and systems to identify problems or issues. Consult blueprints or building plans to identify the best solution to resolve systems or equipment issues. Conducts preventive maintenance to ensure that plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems continue operating properly. Obtains services from outside contractors when repairs require specialized training.
