POSITION SUMMARYThe Supply Chain Master Data Specialist a member of a team responsible for maintaining all centrally managed master data, controlled by the Product Management & Pricing Department, necessary to support the U.S. AutoForce supply value chain. This role also provides support on special projects and department initiatives, as well as day-to-day support to ensure business results are achieved.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for maintaining all centrally managed master data used to support the U.S. AutoForce supply value chain in multiple ERP systems. (i.e. product information and attributes, product costing and pricing, warehouse information, etc.)
  • Partners with all levels of organization to implement new data adds, build custom templates and assist with questions regarding issues related to master data
  • Populate master data templates using multiple data sources (i.e. external vendor files and websites, internal partners, industry web research sites, etc.)
  • Creates and maintains master data in ERP systems, following guidelines and procedures such as naming conventions, field definitions and requirements
  • Data extractions and mass load of master data updates as required to maintain data accuracy for product information, costing, pricing, etc.
  • Creates queries and generates reports, both on scheduled cadence and ad hoc
  • Collaborates with the functional areas of the department to develop process improvements and best practices to establish data integrity and standardization within multiple ERP systems
  • Supports development of training and change management materials and activities to support new processes and procedures as business requirements change for master data management, including transitions to new ERP systems.
  • Reconcile and validate reports, troubleshoot technical problems, conduct testing, support ERP system updates, and coordinate with IT personnel as needed
  • Learns, develops and supports maintenance of specifications, product data, costing, pricing in multiple ERP systems
  • SOP documentation of processes for maintaining master data requirements and accuracy
  • Review data quality issues and coordinate solutions with relevant data owners
  • Assist with ad-hoc data maintenance and analysis tasks
  • Provide administrative support for department functional areas as needed (i.e. internal and external meeting coordination, vendor relations support, travel assistance, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, a related field, or the equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years' business experience; prior experience working with ERP systems a strong plus.
  • Project management or continuous improvement experience or mindset
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel; experience with advanced Excel functions strongly preferred.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills; communicate clearly, with credibility and confidence
  • Creative, out-of-the-box thinker who is intellectually curious with a demonstrated interest in continuous learning.
  • Ability to develop and coordinate cross-functional work groups and projects, yielding optimal outcomes
  • Analytic and problem-solving skills consistent with the ability to identify key issues from a broad range of alternatives, and recommend optimal solutions for various situations
  • Ability to work with shifting priorities and embrace new or evolving responsibilities

This role will work on-site at our Appleton Headquarters.
