*Position*: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele RN)
*Location*: Saint Agnes Medical Center, 1303 E Herndon Ave. Fresno, CA 93720
*Shift*: 12 Hour shifts, self-scheduling
*Pay Range*: Depends on experience between $44.23 – $64.14 plus benefits
\*May be adjusted based on career ladder placement

License: CA RN License
Certifications: BLS, ACLS (within 90 days)

*About the Unit*
Reporting to the Practice Coordinator, this position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of each assigned patient; supervising, coordinating and guiding the activities with nursing staff members; and implementing the philosophy, goals and standards of care of the unit.
* Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, and health care personnel is required.
* Ability to handle varying issues in the midst of any situation and work effectively individually and as a member of a team within a stress-producing environment is required.
* Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient’s family and/or significant others.
* Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques.
* Educates the patient, family and/or significant other regarding pain management.
* Effectively engages patients, families and/or significant others regarding the plan of care, short and long term goals, progression toward goal achievement, including discharge planning.
