We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our client’s team on a part-time basis. The PMHNP will play a key role in providing psychiatric assessments, medication management, and therapeutic interventions to their diverse client population. This position offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment.

*Responsibilities:*
* Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
* Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, including monitoring for efficacy, side effects, and potential interactions.
* Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mental health diagnoses, medications, and treatment options.
* Collaborate with therapists, social workers, and other members of the treatment team to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches.
* Document clinical encounters accurately and timely in accordance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
* Participate in clinical case reviews, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical knowledge and skills.

*Requirements:*
* Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric-mental health nursing.
* Current certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and unrestricted license to practice in NY.
* At least 1 year of experience providing psychiatric care to individuals across the lifespan, preferably in an outpatient setting.
* Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity.

_Please note- The annual base salary range is $85/hr to $110/hr. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer._
