Overall Purpose:



The Identity and Access Management ("IAM") team is responsible for ensuring that permissions to Duquesne Light's logical IT resources are controlled in a manner that ensures high availability, minimization of risk, and increased value to the business.





Location: Hybrid, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania





Job Responsibilities:




  • Assist with daily processing and follow-up on requests for access to all applications and resources managed by the IAM team.

  • Perform user access reviews on multiple applications on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Assist with the revision and creation of IAM process documentation on an annual basis.

  • Assist in the analysis of metrics and reporting to help determine the efficacy of implemented IAM processes and technologies.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the IAM team's Identity Governance/Management platform Sail Point Identity IQ, and participate in efforts to automate tasks and associated IAM processes.

  • Serve as on-call and backup on-call to provide support during non-working hours.





Education/Experience:




  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field required.

  • Bachelor's Degree in aforementioned fields or related field preferred.





Skills:




  • Analytical and problem solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to consistently exhibit sound and ethical judgment.

  • Express verbal and written information effectively.

  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Understanding of enterprise IAM program design, development, deployment, and maintenance.

  • Understanding of contemporary IAM technologies preferred

  • Basic Identity Management familiarity in one or more of the following areas preferred: Single Sign On, Identity Federation, Enterprise Directory Architecture and Design, Resource Provisioning, Identity & Access Governance including Role Based Access Control and Access Recertification, and User Life Cycle Management.

  • Experience with user access provisioning/de-provisioning processes preferred.

  • Experience with development of metrics, reporting, and associated tools preferred.





Scope:



Responsibilities are generally tactical and basic in nature; however, work may vary in type and complexity, requiring the incumbent to be flexible to adjust to the given situation. Primary focus is on daily deliverables and outputs, while at the same time developing a knowledge of the broader context in which the work is being performed.





Decision Impact:



Independent discretion or decision-making is mostly limited. There is normally a general framework of established boundaries to help employees perform their roles and make decisions. Situations that require deviation from this general framework are typically not made alone. The employee may recommend a solution, however the recommendations are frequently presented to their manager or more senior level professionals for review and approval prior to the decision being made.





Hybrid Work



Position follows our hybrid work model, with a minimum of two days working in the office and the remaining days working remotely. Reporting location and frequency may be subject to change based on job role and department needs.





Storm Roles



All Non-Union Employees will serve in storm roles as appropriate to their role and skillset. Please be sure to discuss storm roles with the hiring manager for this position, as duties can vary across the Company.Examples of storm roles could include but aren't limited to duties such as: working with operations for service center support or with the communications, customer service or government affairs teams to respond to public and customer requests for information, etc.





Data Governance



Utilize data to make business decisions as appropriate for the position, support data stewardship activities and partner with IT on underlying data needs.
