Are you a director that creates a fun work environment for your team? Are you passionate about hospitality and being there for your team in all functions of HR? If so, we want to speak with you today!! Qualified candidates MUST come from a hotel, resort or country club with at least 7 years in Human Resource Management., understand NY employee laws and be willing to go the extra mile. Candidates who have worked in seasonal resorts or clubs, understand J1 and H2B interns and embraces working in remote areas. Interviews are being arranged for as early as Monday!!

Salary and Benefits

Salary Range- $160,000
Health, Dental, and Vision 80% company paid eligible on Day 1
401K employer match and eligible after 1 year
PTO- 11 days
Vadation 10 days
Relocation up to 10% of base salary
Interim Housing- will be considered on a case by case basis

Director of Human Resources Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards
Manage the recruitment and selection process, including conducting interviews and negotiating job offers
Oversee employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated into the organization effectively
Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and employee development plans
Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits - Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations - Implement process improvements to streamline HR operations
Utilize HRIS systems such as Kronos, Paylocity, or Oracle to manage employee data

Director of Human Resources Qualifications and Benefits

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management roles
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
- Proven experience in benefits administration and employee relations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and work collaboratively with other departments
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Kronos, Paylocity, or Oracle
