SUMMARY

The PR Specialist is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to the People Relations COE team. This role will assist the PR Business Partners and Manager in providing guidance on policies and procedures, answer general questions from HR team members, independently conduct simple investigations, ensure case documentation is attached to the case in the case management system and track and report on PR metrics.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Ability to respond to issues and cases escalated by HR Service Center, Tier 1.

* Assist PR team with the investigation of people relations concerns, including reviewing relevant information/documentation to prepare the PRBP to conduct interviews.

* Under the supervision of PR team member, independently investigates and resolves simple employee complaints, issues, and concerns.

* Ensures all Company HR related policies are applied consistently.

* Manage case management software to assist with case assignments, tracking, reporting, closure, and trend analysis.

* Develop strong relationships with HR partners and leaders to quickly resolve matters with their area.

* Drafts well-written and thorough investigation-related documents and utilizes the designated online case management tool for tracking.

* Availability to flex hours to conduct investigations.

* Assist in the development of tools and resources to improve PR processes.

* Performs other PR duties, including special projects, as assigned

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

* Minimum of two years Human Resources experience

* Minimum of one years' demonstrated, solid expertise in employee relations, specifically with conducting investigations

* Demonstrated ability to listen and gain information in a timely manner

* Excellent listening skills

* Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to converse with various types of people from multiple backgrounds and cultures

* Experience with defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions when managing employee relations issues

* Strong eye for details and accuracy

* Calm demeanor

* Well-developed critical thinking and decision-making skills along with excellent problem-solving abilities

* Experience in managing multiple cases and projects at the same time

* Strong organizational and time management skills

* Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

* Familiarity with HRIS systems

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
