How You Will Make an Impact

The position will work with the sales team providing support and obtaining needed information to meet both customer and dealer requirements.  The Sales Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of sales and delivery to the customer, including, but not limited to, creating and updating sales files in dealers ERP system through-out the sales process, as well as transportation from the manufacturer to our sales location and to the end-user. This position will also be responsible for setting up vehicles and maintaining unit information for entire inventory, both new and used.

 

The Nuts and Bolts

  • Receive and track vehicle purchase confirmations
  • Review vehicle sales files and vehicle purchase files to confirm that all required documents are included per the checklist
  • Process all files through the required approval
  • Transmit local purchase orders to internal parts and service departments to insure required items are received in a timely manner
  • Review confirmations/change orders requested by customers and sales team; relay confirmations/change orders to the Order Analyst for processing
  • Set up vehicles in the manufactures warranty system, as well as create unit files for each vehicle
  • Process all documents from vendor and district pertaining to the purchase of the unit sale including registration of MCO’s, Limited Power of Attorney, Title & Registration, Odometer Statement, etc.
  • Prepare and review required reports for sales meetings
  • Assist in creating bid packages and related filings/disclosures for the respective sales staff
  • Assist in processing manufacturer rebates
  • Assist sales staff with follow up on customer orders and deliveries
  • Assist with mailings, accounting, receptionist’s breaks as needed

Required Credentials

  • Three (3) to six (6) years of experience supporting a sales function
  • Manufacturing industry or background experience preferred
