What you'll be doing...

You will be joining Verizon Consumer Group's Platform Product Organization as a critical member of the Commercialization Team. This team is responsible for identifying and creating new products from existing internal services and capabilities.

In this role, you will take ownership of product/feature ideation and validation as well as roadmap development. You'll be responsible for leading discussions to secure stakeholder support and buy-in with teams across Verizon. You may not know all the answers, but you have a proven track record of working through difficult challenges by independently researching potential directions, collaborating with others, and iterating to find solutions. You will work with all levels of management, and strong communication skills are required.

Responsibilities:

  • Working as business product owner to identify, describe, document, and build new product requirements and capabilities to satisfy key use cases.

  • Lead cross-disciplinary teams in identifying, validating, and prioritizing new product/feature requirements and enhancements.

  • Lead cross-disciplinary efforts in exploring partnerships and POC builds with new and existing customers.

  • Lead efforts in scaling enterprise product POCs into commercial enterprise products.

  • Work closely with program and project management to ensure technical deliverables are ontrack and moving forward.

  • Lead discussions with legal, security, and privacy teams to ensure Legal/Security compliance is achieved.

  • Act as product SME in supporting the business requirements and product growth planning.

What we're looking for...

You enjoy defining, building, testing, launching and owning products and services. You're flexible and adaptable, and once you've identified a path forward you act quickly to achieve the end result. You have honed your stakeholdering abilities and are seen as an asset for every team that you're a part of.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience in leading an external facing enterprise product.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • MBA, PMP, and/or VLSS experience.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently determine key findings.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build trust and influence.

  • Experience working directly with enterprise customers.

  • Experience in product strategy and product life cycle management.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $122,000.00 and $226,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
