Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm
Salary: $120-130K/yr
As the Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee all installation, repair, and maintenance activities for our facilities and equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Leading a diverse team of approximately 65 individuals, including hourly technicians, salaried supervisors, engineering techs, and schedulers/planners, you'll report directly to the EVP of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all maintenance processes and operations.
- Propose and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring adherence to approved allocations.
- Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance programs.
- Optimize predictive and preventive maintenance methodologies to enhance uptime and efficiency.
- Coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Evaluate and enhance employee skill sets within the Maintenance Department.
- Apply engineering principles to improve production and facilities equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and oversee service contracts.
- Manage maintenance project management, including capital projects and contractor coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Manager in heavy manufacturing.
- Proficiency in MS Office and computerized maintenance management systems.
- Strong project management skills.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred.
- Experience in the glass fiber reinforcements industry is desirable.
