Essential Job Functions:
Provides general repairs as needed.
Follows safe practices in the use of electricity.
Performs or participates in generator testing.
Demonstrates knowledge and ability to trouble shoot, and repair the systems in the facility: Electrical, water, gas, security system, HVAC, plumbing, and other essential systems.
Responds timely to issues.
Ability to diagnose equipment problems and be aware of the need to call an outside contractor if repairs cannot be completed internally.
Knowledge of warranty status of all systems and ability to familiarize self with technicians and the systems.
Ability to repair and paint any wall surface.
Completes mechanical repairs of exhaust motors and pumps.
Ability to move furniture and equipment throughout hospital.
Assures that chemicals are used, stored and maintained in a safe manner according to manufacturer's recommendations and reports any hazardous conditions immediately.
Collects mail and delivers to post office
