DESCRIPTION
The Coordinator of Computer Services is responsible for day-to-day Technology and Computer Services operations at their assigned MACC location. This is a full-time 12-month, FLSA exempt position with employee health and basic life insurance paid by the college. QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor?s degree is preferred or Associate?s degree with minimum of 3 years work experience in computer technology field.  Must be detail orientated, have management, technical, and communication skills.  Must have valid driver?s license, be able to handle equipment weighing 50 or more pounds, climb ladders and work in confined spaces.  
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Coordinator of Computer Services shall:
 
  1. Be familiar with the policies and general operations of Moberly Area Community College;
  2. Coordinate, maintain, repair, and operate computer hardware/software, video conferencing hardware/software, network, media presentation equipment, printing equipment and other technology items;
  3. Maintain building telephone system and infrastructure in coordination with telecommunications service providers;
  4. Assist students, faculty and staff and provide training to individuals and/or groups in the use and operation of technology related equipment such as computers, video conferencing, smart classrooms, digital input devices, etc.;
  5. Maintain technology inventory including equipment, installed software, and maintenance records for technology related items;
  6. Maintain local inventory of necessary technology supplies (toner/printer supplies, bulbs, and repair parts);
  7. Backup computer systems as necessary and maintain necessary backups;
  8. Work with campus bookstores on point-of-sale installation and maintenance;
  9. Assist other MACC Computer Services staff at other MACC sites as is deemed necessary;
  10. Able to climb ladders and work in confined spaces as needed.
  11. Develop, maintain, and coordinate a positive working relationship with constituents (i.e. Morenet, other colleges/universities, state agencies, public education, vendors of hardware and software, etc.);
  12. Work with Director(s) at assigned campus to address technology needs on campus.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned.
