Requirements:

SUMMARY: We are looking for a skilled Field Technician to provide technical support and expertise to our clients in the field. The ideal Field Technician will have a solid understanding of Information Technology, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused mindset. The Field Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues, as well as providing on-site training and support to clients.


PRIMARY DUTIES:

· Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of servers, switching, firewall and access points.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients in a timely and efficient manner.

· Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex technical problems and escalate issues as needed.

· Provide technical training and support to clients on the use and maintenance of desktop and mobile applications.

· Document all work performed, including troubleshooting steps, solutions implemented, and any relevant client interactions.

· Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

· Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with clients and representing the company on-site.

· Stay current with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices to continuously improve skills and knowledge.


COMPENTENCY: Field Technician


REQUIRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.


EXPERIENCE:

· Strong technical background with expertise in servers, switching, firewall and access points.

· Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.

· Proven ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.


LANGUAGE SKILLS: English


QUALIFICATIONS:

· 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in information technology.

· Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.

· Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco and Fortinet are a plus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT: Remotely or at client site.


EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, occasional Saturday/Sunday or after hours dependent on client needs.


TRAVEL: Frequent local travel to client locations to service client sites.
