Data Center & Tech Operations Technician (On Site) Springfield Clinic The Data Center & Technical Operations Technician will be responsible for the 24x7 monitoring of the clinic's data center, network, and server infrastructure. This team owns the data center equipment inventory, as well as the role of ensuring the uptime of the organization's critical infrastructure through proactive monitoring, communication and collaboration across the entire IT team.

Support, own and manage all aspects of the data center hardware inventory.
Perform the hands-on racking/stacking, cabling, as well as removal of all datacenter and IDF closet equipment across the organization's two datacenters and 50+ remote locations.
Maintain documentation on rack, cabling, DRAC & iLO configurations.
Assist in everyday data center maintenance & operations.
Produce daily reporting and shift hand-over communications.
Coordinate with vendors for on-site maintenance and repairs.
Assist in monitoring and ensuring backup completion within allotted timeframes to avoid production impact.
Travel to the clinic's remote sites & locations to assist with infrastructure equipment replacement & installation as necessary.
Potential to work overnight shifts as scheduled or required.
Education/Experience
Two to four-year college degree preferred.
At least 1-3 years of hands on enterprise-level data center experience is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Working knowledge of network, Windows server, and virtualization technologies such as, DNS, DHCP, IP, Firewall, routing, switching, VMware, etc.
Demonstrate basic understanding of troubleshooting methodologies.
Some experience working with general backup technology including VEEAM.
Familiarity working in an Agile or KANBAN style environment is a bonus.
Detail-oriented, autonomous, and eager to learn and lead alongside the rapid pace of an evolving organization.
Working Environment
Able to lift heavy equipment/items.
