Compensation: $20/hr - $27/hr depending on experience. Overtime pay and travel time are covered. Per diem is $30/day plus company vehicle, hotel, etc. all company paid. Opportunity for raises and discretionary bonuses!

Location: Work is on-site at the customer's locations throughout South Carolina and surrounding states.100% overnight travel Monday - Friday (home every weekend). Company vehicle provided!

Work Hours: 45-55+ hour weeks including drive time (company pays for travel/drive time and overtime pay!).

Traveling Lead Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

FaciliServ specializes in the safety and security of equipment in active spaces like gymnasiums, recreational centers, and other athletic facilities primarily for school districts/government sites. As a Lead Traveling Field Service Technician (internally titled “Field Service Technician”), you will play a crucial role in inspecting, servicing, and installing retrofit applications to indoor and outdoor bleachers, overhead athletic equipment, retractable basketball goals, divider curtains, and batting cages.

Traveling Lead Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Consult with customers and evaluate issues
• Inspect, service, and install equipment, including retrofit applications, to ensure safety and compliance
• Work on various equipment, such as bleachers, basketball goals, divider curtains, and batting cages
• Ensure that all work meets safety and quality standards
• Travel to customer locations throughout South Carolina and surrounding states, with approximately 90-100% of the work requiring overnight stays
• Adhere to the established work schedule and communicate effectively with the team

Traveling Lead Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• 2+ years of supervisory experience overseeing a team of technicians
• Must have prior maintenance/service technician experience including familiarity with power tools
• Able to travel throughout NC, VA & WV, GA and SC regions throughout the week, including staying overnight as needed
• Related Welder and Technician certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) since customer-facing
• Basic math skills
• Clean background check and drug screening are required (due to work on school properties). DOT physical and controlled substance screen.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50lbs, sit, reach, stand, crawl, bend, twist, climb stairs, ladders and ability to operate a scissor lift
