**THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN MCPHERSON KS**
Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventative maintenance on building mechanical and manufacturing equipment as per provided checklists from service manuals and scheduled maintenance programs. Tasks include inspecting belts, fluid levels, replacing filters, greasing bearings, seals, etc.

2. Maintain equipment service ability through periodic inspections, completion of preventive maintenance requirements, and identification and repair or replacement of faulty parts.

3. Assist in the installation of new equipment and ensure proper functionality by testing according to manufacturer’s specifications.

4. Conduct routine preventive maintenance on building and plant systems based on provided checklists from service manuals and scheduled maintenance programs.

5. Monitor computer-controlled plant systems to oversee water and electrical systems, chillers, heating and air conditioning, steam bay, etc.

6. Receive work order requests for repairing machines and equipment; collaborate with Supervisor to determine priority and schedule of repairs.

7. Operate basic power tools to fabricate new or converted equipment and machinery.

8. Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions; discuss machine operation variations with supervisors and/or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems for repair.

9. Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts following specifications and blueprints, utilizing precision measuring instruments and hand tools.

Education, Certification/License & Work Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of building and mechanical equipment maintenance and repair experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Pay:

• $21+ per hour based on experience. Shift differential is offered 

2nd shift: 3-11:30 pm, Mon – Fri

3rd shift: 11 pm – 7:30 am, Sun – Thurs

Weekend PM shift: 11 pm – 7:30 am, Friday & Monday, 7 pm – 7 am, Saturday & Sunday
