Join us at MSK for an exciting opportunity as an Electrician, where you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical equipment at our NJ locations (Monmouth, Basking Ridge and Bergen) location.

Role Overview:

Assess job to be accomplished: review blueprints, diagrams, work orders; discuss project with customer; resolve appropriate materials to be used; bring together equipment, tools and materials needed.
• Perform routine and specialized electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with New Jersey electrical codes with minimal direction.
• Install, repair, replace and test alarm and communication systems, electrical circuits and equipment.
• Perform all tasks related to electrical construction and installation (g., wiring for heat, light and power).
• Electrician will be responsible to assist Plant Operators in any building or site related activities. Activities include plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, light carpentry, and painting.
• Electrician will be encouraged to know the heating and air conditioning plant at the site and assist in operation and repair of the plant equipment. Passing the NJ Black Seal license is encouraged within one year of employment.
• Respond to customer questions or requests demonstrating courteous and professional customer service.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and secure work environment. Ensures accurate care and use of tools, equipment, supplies and materials.
• Take vital precautions to comply with institutional, departmental, or regulatory agency safety requirements.
• Document time worked, work order status, and supplies needed for each assignment.

Core Skills:

• Knowledge of New Jersey electrical codes and sufficient knowledge to handle assignments of routine and non-routine difficulty with minimal direction.
• 3 years hospital/institution experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems is required.
• New Jersey Electrical license holder preferred.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
