To that end, we are looking for a dynamic recruiter, who is looking to develop their skills and experiences by initially focusing on higher volume, entry-level to mid-level, manufacturing and manufacturing support roles. As they continue their growth with our HR team, they may also recruit for other roles in Sales, Marketing, IT, Finance/Accounting, Engineering, and more. What You'll Be Doing as a Talent Acquisition Specialist: Source candidates to meet current and future talent needs. Connect with potential candidates, ensure a great candidate experience, and position Leupold & Stevens as an employer of choice.
  • Lead full cycle recruiting activities for professional, administrative, and production roles. Source, screen, interview, candidate selection, and onboard.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop strategies for identifying and recruiting potential candidates. Provide ongoing communication on the status of the search and ensuring a great candidate experience.
  • Design, build, and execute social media strategy for recruiting purposes.
    • Leverage social networking and other cutting-edge recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network. Source potential candidates through online channels including social media, professional networks, and influencer marketing sites.
  • Create engaging content that can be customized across multiple platforms including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat. Deliver and maintaining content on all employment and talent related online platforms.
  • Identify an appropriate mix of media to connect with different talent communities (phone, email, text, social media, etc.). Help to develop a strategy for mobile and email campaigning to talent communities.
  • Help to improve tools and processes for candidate assessment before and during the interview process.
  • Ensure that we are fully leveraging our Applicant Tracking System. Implement additional functionality to improve processes and candidate experience.
  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders to develop a strong talent brand and position Leupold & Stevens as an employer of choice. Incorporate talent brand messaging into recruiting processes and creating employment branding content for recruitment programs.
  • Coordinate and provide support for other HR programs and projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience You'll Need as a Talent Acquisition Specialist:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing or human resources or related field and 3 years of full cycle recruiting experience desired. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment best practices and process workflows.
  • Proficiency with a variety of social media platforms and tools including LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat.
  • Knowledge of various job platforms; experience using Boolean search techniques for candidate sourcing.
  • Understanding of online communities, including building and maintaining talent communities across major social platforms.
  • Great project management skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, creative, with a flexible work style and a "can do" attitude.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external candidates.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Great detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Desire to bring new ideas and a solution-oriented approach to talent acquisition.
  • Passion for sports and an outdoor lifestyle is a big plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
