Office Manager/Accountant Position:

The Office Manager/Accountant has functional authority over performing bookkeeping as well as general administrative and clerical functions. The primary responsibilities of the Office Manager/Accountant are to ensure the company's financial accounting records are maintained on a current basis, to ensure that the required information is reported accurately and on a timely basis, and that general office and administrative support services are provided for the other key functions of the organization.

Highlights of the Office Manager/Accountant Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the payroll functions of the Company, ensuring pay is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with government regulations.
  • Assist the President in the daily administration of business operations.
  • Assist in the optimization of the efficiency of the corporate facilities.
  • Assist in monitoring and enforcing all Company safety (and other) policies, rules and regulations.
  • Assist in the establishment, enforcement and monitoring of security standards and procedures to protect the Company's assets, wherever they are located.
  • Process and file necessary reports to federal, state and local agencies, especially as it relates to licenses, fees and filings.
  • Stay apprised of events and regulations relative to employee benefits, human resource matters, insurance and other rules, laws and agencies, in order to keep the Company both competitive and in compliance with all regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned

This is a full-time, in-office position. Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Office Manager/Accountant Requirements:

  • Needs to have experience with: Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online would be a bonus.
  • Knowledge or background in the construction industry is preferred but not required.
  • Successfully passing a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Self-driven without the need to be micro-managed
  • Preference will be given to CPAs
  • Applicants with a notary are preferred but not required

Office Manager/Accountant Pay:

$70,000-$78,000 Annual Salary
