Our Program Manager, Volunteer Programs Will:

Champion program implementation efforts ensuring that defined activities are carried out in accordance with specified objectives. Identify gaps and opportunities and formulate solutions and improvements. Serve as a liaison and ensure coordinated outreach and partnerships within the American Red Cross organization and external constituents. Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.

What You Will Do:

Responsibilities:

1: Champion new program implementations and execute efforts to ensure specified objectives are achieved.

2: Conduct needs assessment with internal partners to determine opportunities, develop and execute plans for reaching objectives and meeting operational needs. Identify volunteer services needs, gaps and opportunities. Formulate and implement appropriate solutions and improvements.

3: Serve as a liaison ensure alignment of volunteer needs and national goals. Serve as a resource for problem-solving and operational issues.

4: Monitor plans to ensure they are established, supported and executed.

5: Work to expand programs, implement process and performance improvements to enhance operational success.

6: May ensure compliance of programs in regulated environments.

What You'll Need To Succeed:

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree required or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related experience.

Travel: Travel to off-site locations may be required annually.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training, presentation and negotiating skills.

The salary range for this position is $65,000-$80,000.

Note that the American Red Cross sets salary ranges aligned to a specific geographic location in which the work is performed. The stated salary range in this posting is an average.
