Description

Participates in the design, development, administration and management of company benefit plans, programs and policies that support the acquisition and retention of talent. Works closely with team, vendors and internal resources to ensure efficient and compliant administration of benefit plans, programs and policies. Leads benefits-related projects and manages plan vendors. Addresses and resolves escalated plan participant issues and provides benefits expertise to other HR functions.

Position Compensation Range:

$67,000.00 - $111,000.00

Primary Accountabilities
* Ensures plan documents are updated and establishes efficient plan administration processes.
* Leads the annual benefit Annual Enrollment process and project-manage portions of the Annual Enrollment process as assigned.
* Develops benefit communication materials for all purposes; make presentation to groups.
* Manage relationships with service vendors who provide outsourced health and welfare services, time off and retirement plan services.

* Collaborates on the evaluation of programs, plan design, renewals, establishment of service contracts, and any other contract matters. Creates process documentation and focuses on continuous improvement to administrative processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

- Addresses and resolves escalated plan participant issues and provides benefits expertise to other HR functions.


Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements
* Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
* Demonstrated strong analytical aptitude, with the ability to organize and analyze data, interpret results, formulate conclusions and provide strong consulting as it relates to benefits decisions.
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of benefit-related government rules and regulations and governance and their impact on the different elements of benefits.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of financial aspects and reporting requirements of benefit plans.
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of benefit plans, including health and welfare, wellness, retirement and various time off programs.
* Demonstrated experience with vendor management.
* Solid knowledge and understanding of project management methodologies, practices, techniques and tools.
* Demonstrated experience working with third party administrators to resolve employee benefit issues.
* Demonstrated experience working in collaborative team environment.
