About the Inventory Management Team

You will be part of the Inventory Planning organization is responsible for the strategic planning of inventory positions to drive sales, manage inventory turn and meet or exceed financial targets for your area of responsibility. Inventory associates are innovators, optimizers and problem solvers who are constantly seeking opportunities to move the business forward. You will collaborate with other business functions to support a product strategy intended to meet our customer's needs.

Overview of the Supply Chain Coordinator role

You will own the creation, maintenance and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) for assigned departments. You will act as a liaison between Inventory Management, Merchandising, Sourcing and global vendors to ensure every order is processed and delivered on time.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain purchase orders based on the needs of cross-functional partners or supply chain constraints
  • Communicate and manage purchase order and transportation information with agents and vendors
  • Review master tracker & GTN POC on a weekly basis to resolve outstanding PO issues
  • Track and update customer facing order dates to properly reflect customer backorder dates and receipt forecasts
  • Operate a computer and communicate via telephone
  • Transport materials and equipment and lift, move, and carry objects up to 50 pounds on a limited basis

Criteria

  • Detailed oriented with a keen eye for accuracy
  • Comfortable entering and retrieving data from multiple systems
  • Good time management skills with ability to prioritize and shift focus as needed
  • Strong follow-through skills, especially following up with multiple teams to get information needed to resolve pending POs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills -- able to write succinct messages and communicate clearly
  • Ability to perform work onsite in the (San Francisco, Rocklin, Portland, New York, San Jose) office full-time pending state, local, and Company return-to-work guidance during and after the COVID-19 pandemic.
