Controllers, we are seeking a strategic accounting leader to support our manufacturing client with various initiatives.

As an Interim Controller, you will serve as a financial expert for this manufacturing company.This involves handling a variety of general to complex accounting functions, monthly close, providing analytical support, and various special projects.

Controller responsibilities:

• Managing accounting and financial reporting
• Establishing and coordinating all accounting procedures for the business unit
• Investigating significant trends/variances in financial data
• Handling AP, AR, Payroll, Fixed Assets, Tax, and Product Costing Analysis
• Providing daily and/or weekly analysis, and reporting on operational performance as it relates to the business activities including monitoring margins and variances

This is a temporary/interim position.
This role will require an hybrid on-site presence.MUST be local to the greater Birmingham, AL market.
