What will you be doing:

The Specialist Cross Reference role is a mid-level position in the sourcing / ITS organization of Premier where the individual is provided a support system to grow in the role on an individual and team basis. This position participates and contributes to performance improvement initiatives and special projects, is focused on leadership and development and is exposed to various experimental activities that will broaden the individual's experience and perspective. The Specialist Cross Reference role assists the various service lines in developing cross references for assigned categories. The individual will work closely with sourcing and suppliers to identify specific product attributes to classify products with other like products for low to medium complexity categories.

Required Qualifications

Work Experience:

Years of Applicable Experience - 2 or more years

Education:

Bachelors


Preferred Qualifications

  • Clinical Background & Licensure - RN, LPN, CST is very strongly preferred.
  • MS Excel - Knowledge and experience using Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and Formulas is very strongly preferred.
  • Healthcare Supply Chain, Value Analysis, Healthcare Informatics and Project Management is preferred.
  • CVAHP Certification is desirable.
  • In the Charlotte North Carolina area.

Education:

Certification or licensure related to area of expertise.

Premier's compensation philosophy is to ensure that compensation is reasonable, equitable, and competitive in order to attract and retain talented and highly skilled employees. Premier's internal salary range for this role is $64,000 - $118,000. Final salary is dependent upon several market factors including, but not limited to, departmental budgets, internal equity, education, unique skills/experience, and geographic location. Premier utilizes a wide-range salary structure to allow base salary flexibility within our ranges.
