IT Security Analyst II | Remote | Contract
Walker Healthforce is seeking a IT Security Analyst II for a healthcare client located remotely. This is a contract position.
Start Date: ASAP

JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform cross-functional collaboration with information security team, EIT division, and business
Manage identification, mitigation, resolution, and acceptance/deferral of information security risks for the organization
Provide guidance on mandatory and recommended security and IAM (Identity and Access Management) controls
Collaborate with project teams to interpret security risks found during certification processes
Assist in defining mitigating controls and remediation plans or exception processes
Maintain continuity and consistency across all business unit information protection programs
Manage information security risk identification, mitigation, acceptance, monitoring, and reporting processes
Collaborate with Governance, Risk, and Performance team on metrics and reporting
Plan, execute, and manage multi-faceted projects related to risk management, mitigation, compliance, control assurance, and user awareness
Develop and drive security strategies, policies/standards, and ensure effectiveness of solutions
Provide security-focused consultative services to the organization
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree
Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience
Clear understanding of IT audit methodologies.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Outlook etc.)
Knowledge in auditing, internal audit standards, fraud awareness, and professional ethical standards and enterprise risk management (i.e., risk analysis and control assessment)
3+ years of combined IT audit and security work experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development, database design and administration and 1 year of experience with IT security required.
Desired professional certification in audit and/or technical security areas
