*Job Overview: *

Join their dynamic team in Akron, OH as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in designing, enhancing, and overseeing the manufacturing processes for medical devices, products, and systems. You'll work closely with customers to develop and test specifications, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.

*Responsibilities:*
* Apply advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis techniques to resolve issues with demonstrable outcomes.
* Provide direct support to the operations team, ensuring seamless production processes.
* Lead new projects from inception to delivery, prioritizing long-term considerations of cost, quality, and delivery.
* Oversee qualification and validation activities for manufacturing equipment and special processes.
* Develop and implement robust production processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and capabilities.
* Create comprehensive work instructions and documentation to facilitate training and maintain manufacturing standards.

*Requirements:*
* Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline plus three years of manufacturing experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Proficiency in problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies.
* Demonstrated ability to manage projects with a broad scope, prioritizing tasks effectively.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively.
* Experience leading Lean or Theory of Constraints (TOC) improvement initiatives.
* Prior experience in ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or medical device manufacturing environments preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD systems, with knowledge of drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
* Familiarity with CAM systems such as MasterCam, Esprit, or Partmaker is advantageous.
