Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of Cardiac Care Unit experience is required.

• Travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

• COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

48 hrs/wk

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE: Associate’s degree in nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Assesses and Reassesses young adult, adult, and elderly patients and applies the nursing process to: Demonstrates basic competency in specialized procedures/equipment i.e. -Cardiac Monitoring -Care of patients Pre/Post CABG -Care of patients Pre/Post Interventional Cardiac Procedures -Maintain/Pull sheaths -Angioseal/Vasoseal -Specialized medications/drips/Titration -ACT Machine -Sedation -Pain Management -Chest Tube care/insertion -TPN/PPN -KODA -Central Lines - IV therapy -IVADD -Infusion Therapy -Information Management -Boomerang
