Sentara Healthcare is hiring a Team Coordinator, Operations- Commercial/Group Health Insurance- Remote!

This is aFull Timeposition with day shift hours and great benefits!

Job responsibilities:

  • The Business & Systems Operations, Team Coordinator will perform activities that provide business solutions to complex organizational initiatives and should demonstrate an extensive expertise in key platforms and any interfacing applications. The person will play a key role in the benefits configuration and implementation of the Commercial/Group Insurance Lines of Business. He/She will be responsible for claims, system admin, and other system analysis, configuration design, testing and documentation. The person will work with management in the department to establish realistic project scope, project plans, timelines & escalate barriers and consider interdepartmental impact when recommending, implementing and testing solutions.

  • Possess a high degree of expertise in the business requirements that support governmental & commercial reimbursement policies and methodologies of the organization

  • Coordinate configuration, testing, QA & maintenance of assigned systems and the associated platform functionality for the program

  • Manage configuration/testing projects

  • Train and coach analysts

  • Manage team workload, provide guidance, instruction and leadership to analysts to achieve desired performance, ensure that the individual benchmarks are met

  • Perform complex testing, data analysis and draw business conclusions for decision making

  • Manage 5 Direct Reports

Required qualifications

  • - BLD - Bachelor's Level Degree required

  • 3 years experience in Analytics

  • 3+ years MS SQL server experience including writing SQL queries, SQL Server Analysis Services, SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services (advanced SQL)

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in Commercial/Group Health Insurance and Project Management highly preferred

  • 3 years in a leadership/people management role highly preferred

  • QNXT experience preferred
