Full-Time Surgery Scheduler

Join our dedicated and compassionate healthcare team at Coastal Medical Center, a leading Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) specializing in urological procedures. We are committed to providing exceptional patient care and are seeking a reliable and dedicated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Surgery Scheduler.

Position Overview:

As a Surgery Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our urology department. You will be responsible for checking patients in the morning, answering phones, scheduling surgical procedures, and assisting patients as needed. This position offers a full-time schedule with predictable hours and no holidays or weekends.

Schedule:

Monday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Wednesday: 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM

Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Greet and check-in patients upon arrival for surgery.
• Answer phones and respond to inquiries from patients, physicians, and staff.
• Schedule surgical procedures and coordinate with patients, physicians, and operating room staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient scheduling records.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the ASC urology team.
• Walking patients out as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a surgery scheduler or medical office receptionist preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities.
