Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Acute Care team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide primary care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting. Your responsibilities will include administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures, and providing health coaching to patients and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement appropriate care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress
- Assist with diagnostic tests and procedures, such as CT scans and laboratory specimen collection processing
- Perform airway management, catheterization, venipuncture, and phlebotomy as needed
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies and provide health coaching
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of [state]
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
