THIS NEED REQUIRES LABOR & DELIVERY AND OBSTETRICS EXPERIENCE. FROM CHECK-IN TO DISCHARGE, A TRAVEL NURSE IS NEEDED WHO IS COMFORTABLE IN ALL ASPECTS OF DELIVERY AND AFTER CARE. SPEARE WILL NOT CONSIDER ANY TRAVELER WHO RESIDES WITHIN 50 MILES OF FACILTY. PLEASE INCLUDE PERM ADDRESS WHEN UPLOADING PROFILE TO AVOID ANY DELAYS. THANK YOU!Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process. The RN must assess and identify patient problems/needs, establish a plan of care, implement interventions, and evaluate and revise the patient plan of care based on patient progress. Speare OB Unit can manage High-Risk pregnancy management, including (but not limited to):Preterm LaborHigh blood pressureDiabetesVBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section)Prenatal testingRequested time off

THIS TRAVELER MUST BE ABLE TO WORK IN LABOR AND DELIVERY AND MOTHER-BABY, POST PARTUM AND NURSERY - WE REQUIRE A WELL-ROUNDED TRAVELER RN WHO IS COMFORTABLE FROM CHECK-IN TO DISCHARGE OF MOM AND BABY. 2 years Current OB/L&D experience - RequiredPost-Partum AND Mother/Baby experience - RequiredNURSERY Experience - RequiredApgar/Routine testing experience - RequiredAWHONN and STABLE - Strongly preferred - Travelers with one or both of these certifications will receive first considerationLactation experience - PreferredBSN - Highly preferredPrevious travel - PreferredProfile Requirements: Work HistorySkills Checklist (pertinent to position), current to 1 year 1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment)License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS, NRP - Facility will not pend License/Certs)

Speare Memorial Hospital is a 100,000 square foot Critical Access Hospital located in the heart of New Hampshire between the scenic Lakes Region and the White Mountain National Forest.
