We are seeking an Account Specialist II/Broker for a hybrid role within our commercial risk team with our Construction & Infrastructure practice in , Milwaukee, WI.

Your Impact As An Account Specialist II/Broker

Assists Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve clients and undertaking the client-facing and internal activities related to these processes. Account Specialists will handle brokerage for middle market construction accounts and assist specialty brokers as necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintains effective and productive relationships with clients and carriers
  • Gathers and analyzes data on exposures, loss history and coverage needs for submissions
  • Facilitates the timely and accurate flow of information between clients, AE and account team members.
  • Manages client open items lists and responds to client ad-hoc requests.
  • Gathers and analyzes data and drafts assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports and other client presentations
  • Actively supports and monitors the renewal process, including proposal preparation.
  • Negotiates renewal terms with incumbents and/or alternative markets, drafts quote comparisons and follows up for binders, policies and endorsements.
  • Receives and manages coverage inquiries and endorsement requests. Serves as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, invoicing process and discrepancies, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance and policy transmittals.
  • Ensures operational excellence, including adherence to Aon service management requirements

Preferred (not required) Experience:

  • 5 years of insurance industry experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication and client-service skills
  • Active Property and Casualty license
  • Proficiency in PC office products such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools.

Education:

  • Bachelors' Degree or equivalent years of experience, with Risk Management / Business related curriculum preferred.

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $60,000 to $80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
