Manager of D365 Competence Center

Manage the Permobil D365 Competence Center consisting of application specialists.
Enable the further implementation of the D365 platform as defined in the target architecture and prepare for maintenance and operations.

Application ownership of the D365 platform includes securing application operations & maintenance, platform governance, lifecycle management, forecasting and financial follow up.

Key Duties:
Provide direction, guidance and governance to ensure proper alignment with business initiatives and technology strategy/roadmaps
Manage and develop the team effectively; set goals and development plans for the team and each team member
Collaborate with solution architects within the specific solution area
Study and understand the business and proactively engage to capture their needs
Keep up to date with industry developments, ensuring that best practice is adopted and seek to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Understand dependencies to projects and business priorities
Ensure that all contracts with suppliers support the needs of the business, and that all suppliers meet their contractual commitments
Set up relevant process(es) and governance to effectively maintain the platform and interact with business stakeholders in all regions
Set up service level agreements for the application and follow these up with the internal and/or external delivery teams
Coordinate internal and/or external delivery teams according to the aforementioned processes
Make sure that Microsoft D365 is used effectively and efficiently, in line with security requirements within Permobil and plan for further enhancements
Interact with stakeholders, identify their needs and provide guidance in the specific system functions
Plan and provide financial forecasts for D365 application lifecycle activities
Administer the platform and ensure right application access management
Support with the handover of Microsoft D365 implementations into operations according to the target architecture rollout plan
Follow up financials for the D365 platform including license fees, platform costs etc. and propose enhancements
Proactively identify opportunities for significant operational process or system level product improvements
Ensure that proposed and existing solutions meet all requirements from the EA framework, with regards to quality, security etc.
Keep up to date with industry developments, ensuring that best practice is adopted and seek to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Identify gaps in existing solutions, and inform relevant specialists/teams
Participate in projects and activities related to the area
Ensure that all contracts with suppliers support the needs of the business, and that all suppliers meet their contractual commitments

Authority & Responsibilities:
Manage direct reports
Deliver initiatives and assignments on time with high quality
Application ownership of the overall Microsoft D365 platform
Operational responsibility through delivery teams
Application lifecycle responsibility

Education/Certification:
University degree in IT, engineering or related discipline

Knowledge Required:
Deep knowledge of the major business systemes design and features within the area
Deep knowledge of system development methods and standards.
Knowledge of the Microsoft D365 Platform

Experience Required:
5 + years' experience from working with management and/or application management or relevant experience
