Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. This position requires excellent clinical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assessing patient conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Perform various medical procedures such as wound dressing, IV administration, and gastric lavage
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Document patient information accurately and timely in medical records
- Assist with emergency situations by providing basic life support and trauma medicine
- Manage airway and provide airway management when necessary
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Ensure compliance with all medical protocols and standards of care
Experience:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in MT
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
- BLS AHA and ACLS certification required
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations
- Knowledge of basic life support techniques and trauma medicine
- Experience in airway management
- Understanding of dementia care principles and practices
