TexomaCare is comprised of primary care physicians and a variety of specialists in nine local communities. TexomaCare is proud to be affiliated with Texoma Medical Center (TMC), the Texoma region's leader in hospital services. Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. More than 3,500 employees, 400 multi-specialty physicians, and over 100 volunteers have helped to support the hospital in delivering quality, patient focused care to the Texoma region for over 50 years.

The Accounts Receivable (A/R) Supervisor has day to day oversight of all insurance accounts receivable functions including outstanding insurance claims (no response) and insurance denials/appeals, with a primary focus on maximizing insurance revenue collection. Closely monitors at-risk accounts and prioritizes these encounters to avoid potential timely filing write-offs. Reviews daily insurance A/R volumes by payer and assigns work among the team while supervising collection activities to ensure that department goals are met or exceeded. Reports and monitors productivity results daily and conducts weekly quality reviews for each AR Specialist. Routinely meets with direct reports to review their individual results and identifies opportunities to improve performance (productivity, quality, collections). The A/R Supervisor identifies training needs, coaches, and counsels staff members in an effort to develop staff improve teamwork, morale and overall team performance/results.

Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 12 markets across six states and the District of Columbia. Qualifications

Education:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.

Work experience:

  • Experience (5-8 years minimum) working in a healthcare revenue cycle.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience or 4 years of team lead experience required.

Knowledge:

  • Healthcare (professional) billing, knowledge of CPT/ICD-10 coding, government, government sponsored and commercial follow-up requirements as well as appeals processes and requirements.
  • Thorough understanding of the revenue cycle and how the various components work together.
  • Service excellence, and recruiting, training, leading and performance management of staff.
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, and other office procedures and terminology
  • Knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organization skills.
  • Service-oriented/customer-centric.

Abilities:

  • Operate within the concept of patient-focused care.

  • Mainframe billing software (e.g., Cerner, Epic, IDX)
