We seek a PMHNP to join our NEW! Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUCC) team in Philadelphia, Pa.
We are a mental health urgent care/walk-in center for adults in need of same-day care that is not an emergency in Philadelphia. We serve individuals experiencing emotional distress, mental health concerns, and/or substance use concerns. Individuals will participate in triage, resolution-focused services, and aftercare planning to prepare for long-term recovery and connection to ongoing care. We serve individuals regardless of income or insurance status. Our services do not replace the need for ongoing mental health care; rather, we aim to reduce avoidable visits to crisis centers and emergency rooms by helping people get the care they need when they need it.
The PMHNP:
Provides comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health urgent care services to individuals.
Works under the supervision of the psychiatrist.
Conduct evaluations, provide clinical interventions, and works within the multidisciplinary BHUCC team to deliver coordinated, quality care.
Supervise LPN nurses.
Earn $145,000 / year.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP with prescriptive authority.
Experience with integrated health preferred.
Experience in crisis intervention, urgent care, or emergency psychiatric settings is preferred.
Licensed in State of Pennsylvania.
Valid Child Abuse, State Criminal and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
Master's degree in nursing with a focus on psychiatric-mental health.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare technology.
Leadership skills to supervise and support LPN(s).
Must be able to work Monday-Friday: 10:30AM-7PM and alternating weekends.
