Overview

St. Luke’s Health System in McCall, ID is seeking a RN to join our Home Health team.

Hours:  Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm with rotating evening call and weekends.

The recovery process is so important and there's no place like the comfort of your own home to heal.  The Home Care team helps patients and loved ones be as comfortable and independent as possible by creating a custom plan that offers the latest technology and is tailored the patient and family’s needs. Become a part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary team comprised of Case Manager RNs, Rehab Therapists, Respiratory Therapists, Dietitians and aides in the collaborative effort to provide exceptional patient-centered care!

Responsibilities

You will provide comprehensive care to patients with a new diagnosis, discharged from ER, new medications, oxygen in home requiring respiratory treatment, and wound care. During home visits, you will ensure patients are progressing with their care plan, provide education related to their disease process, and assess physical and psychological needs to improve quality of life. When it comes time to discharge, you will coordinate resources and educate patient and patient's family.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
• Experience:  At least one year of RN experience required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice; AHA-BLS Certification.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance for in home visits.  You will be required to use your own vehicle while in the field.
