Marketing & Communications: Two Positions-Manager & Specialist National Council of Structural Engineers Associations Our Association is growing and thriving. Join the National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA) and help celebrate and support the unsung heroes of the design and construction industry – structural engineers. Responsibilities:
Develop, lead and execute the organization’s strategic, integrated, data-driven marketing and communications plan. Build and reinforce the NCSEA and STRUCTURE brands of educational excellence, exceptional customer service, and strong leadership and support of the state-level structural engineers associations. Provide editorial and design direction for all organizational communications to ensure consistent, effective, brand-aligned, and grammatically correct messaging. Collaborate with staff and volunteers proactively and effectively, with a solution-oriented mindset, positive attitude, customer-service orientation, organized communications, and timely follow through. Manage and execute a strategic email marketing and communications plan, including regular member newsletters and promotions for webinars and events. Partner to create content that drives revenue and use data to make sound marketing decisions. Update and maintain the organization’s websites and member portal, with a long-term objective of leading a project to update and improve these online assets. Lead, grow, and contribute to the organization’s social media efforts with strategic content creation, frequent engagement, metric analysis, and continual adjustment. Plan and create graphic design projects related to digital communications, events, print mailings, brochures, magazine content, and other organizational needs. Provide video editing for recorded webinar and other small video projects. Continue support of a current strategic initiative focused on building awareness and appreciation for the structural engineering profession, and lead implementation efforts. Coordinate media relations activities, including developing and promoting press releases and responding to inquiries during crisis situations with a proactive, thought leadership approach. Assist with administrative tasks in day-to-day association operations, including database management and webinar and event support. Complete other projects and responsibilities at the organization’s discretion. Skills & Qualifications:
Ideal candidate for Manager position will have 5+ years of professional experience in marketing and communications. Ideal candidate for Specialist position will have 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing and communications.
