Job Title: ETL Tester
Job Summary
- We are seeking for a Sr. ETL Tester with 5-9 years of experience, specializing in ETL, Snowflake, and SQL within the Property & Casualty Insurance domain.
- This role involves comprehensive testing strategies, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing performance to enhance our insurance solutions.

Roles/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure the integrity and performance of ETL processes, Snowflake databases, and SQL queries.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project objectives and create effective testing plans.
- Execute test cases with precision and document all findings for review by project stakeholders.
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
- Establish benchmarks for program efficiency in operating and response times.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing strategies and methodologies.
- Utilize advanced SQL skills to create test data and validate test results.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications in all testing phases.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
- Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.
- Stay current with new testing tools and test strategies.
- Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an ETL Tester in the Property & Casualty Insurance domain is essential.
- Strong technical proficiency in ETL, Snowflake, and SQL is required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in team settings.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Familiarity with test management software and SQL databases.
- A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to work.

Primary: Cincinnati, OH - USA
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $83,000 - $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
