*Title: Community Based Contract Compliance Auditor*
*Duration: 3 Months Contract (Possible extension) *
*Location: Bloomington, IN*
*Pay Rate: $26.14 /hr on 1099 *
*Description:* The auditor will conduct on-site monitoring and reviews of DCS community based contracted provider businesses. Responsibilities include error-free billing assurance, education, recommendation, plan of corrections, and pursuing financial damages if necessary. Travel required within specified regions and to Central Office in Marion County quarterly.
*Required Skills:*
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Finance Related Field or 4 years' audit/investigations experience
Excellent communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines
Experience in formulating and implementing audit corrective action plans
Knowledge of applicable state laws, policies, service standards, and procedures
Prior billing auditor experience in a State or Federal Agency (desired)
